The beach in the town of S. Juan del Sur is located next to many beautiful green and high mountains.
These mountains are an excellent place for special observations overlooking the whole town and on good days you can even see the first line of houses from Costa Rica.
These observations are highly recommended.
But you should know that the journey to them is not so easy.
Keep in mind that it is well worth the effort.
First lookout is called EL FARO
In this observation you can enjoy the general view of the town and the whole area, above there is a small shop that sells drinks and beers, there is a light pole for boats that marks the whole place and another ancient tunnel with a historical story behind it.
On the way to the big lookout there are several small lookouts and each of them has a completely different view worth stopping and seeing in each one.
