SAN RAMON WATERFALL IN ISLA OMTEPE

The San Ramon waterfall is located about 4 km from the village of San Ramon, in a rainforest surrounding the Madras volcano.

The walk to the waterfall can be somewhat challenging, but usually flowing and pleasant.

On the way to the waterfall you can see a variety of animals such as snakes, monkeys and birds.

The waterfall itself is a spectacular sight - a lot of water flows from a height of about 50 meters into a small pool.

The waterfall can be reached as a full day trip from Concepcion or as a half day trip from Madras.

This is a particularly beautiful attraction for nature and landscape lovers.

It is recommended to check before going to the waterfall if there is water there because during the dry periods of the year sometimes there is no water flow in the waterfall
