BEACHES IN OMATEPE

Santo Domingo beach is in the transition between the two parts of the island, and is considered the most visited and popular beach in Umtapa.

Those interested in a quieter and more isolated experience can continue to the other side of the island, near Mount Madras.

There are several villages with secluded and calmer beaches, as well as walking paths along the coast and in the forests.

On these beaches you can see ancient wall paintings painted by the original inhabitants of the island hundreds of years ago.

Umtapa offers a wide variety of beaches, from tourist beaches to those that maintain a rustic and unspoiled character.

There is a very beautiful and Israeli-owned beach called Playa Mango, from where you can go on an amazing kayaking tour and sit with a cold beer to watch the sunset

This place is located outside of Juan Del Sur
